Junior Orchestra - week 2!
Look what we have got!!! A whole new orchestra of enthusiastic players, the majority of whom have just joined us from the pre prep! It is truly wonderful and I am so excited about the prospects of these wonderful new players. I think that it is safe to say that the music department is in good hands...!

Welcome back!
Welcome back everybody! We've had a terrific start in the music
department and even Year 8 have caught the singing bug, by learning new
hymns for Sunday's Evensong. Pre prep have started working on material
for their forthcoming harvest festival and Year 3 have knocked me
sideways by learning a song for the charity concert already!
Our new music teacher, Colin Hughes has made his presence felt and the department seems as enthusiastic and buzzy as it was previously. It bodes well for continued high standards in the music department.
Looking ahead...dates for your diaries: 27th November, which are the Charity Concerts and 12th December, which is the Carol Service at St Swithun's.
